with fabulous Rachael at imagine gnats.
I spend a lot of time sewing items for swaps and for the various charities I like to support. This is something I love to do and it brings me great joy.
BUT I do like to sew for me too. And I haven't been doing very much lately, so I've signed up for the Selfish Sewing Week and for that whole week I'm going to sew just for me. I've joined the Flickr group and am planning all I hope to achieve. If you want to join in the fun, visit Rachael at imagine gnats and Jill at Made with Moxie to find out more.
Looks like fun... ...so I'll be going

ReplyDeleteI know what you mean Mel. I am a bit snowed under at the moment but it would be nice to sew some of my To Do List. Hugs......

ReplyDeleteWill you be going to the show with Christine and after the show have Coffee and scones????
Enjoy your Selfish Sewing Mel!
ReplyDeleteSelfish is such a negative sounding word for (in this case) "taking care of oneself", which we all need to do so that we will be able to take care of others more effectively. Looking forward to seeing your "selfish" sewing accomplishments!
ReplyDeleteIhave decided to start sewing for me . I have allways sewn for others and never for myself much at all. But now that I have cancer I have decided it is time for me to start doing for me. So I am gonna start haveing fun.
