...for awhile. Life just becomes more and more difficult here. This morning, my darling Sammy's wife had a severe stroke and is in on life support in intensive care. We are all devastated so I won't be blogging for a few days. Thank goodness Sam was there and little Henry is holidaying with us so Sam didn't have to worry about him while she was rushed to hospital. Wil is on holiday with his cousins in the country. Poor Sam, telling Wil will be terrible.
Huge thanks to my wonderful friend Christine for offering all her help. I may be a little late in getting off birthday gifts to my bloggy friends, and I will email you when I can, but I know you will understand.
I am so sorry to hear about Sammy's wife, and my thoughts and prayers are with her and your family.

ReplyDeleteMel, I am so sorry to read about your D.I.L. - she is too young to have a severe stroke, what a shock for you and the whole family. My Mum had her first stroke when she was 37, not long after I was born, so I grew up with her disablement, but never thought anything of it because she recovered to the point of where she was able to get on with her life as close to normal as possible for another 20 years.
ReplyDeleteSue emailed me to say you wouldn't be going over there as we had planned, but that is the last thing you need to think about. We can get together at a better time in the future.
Hugs,
Gina
