Betsy's Closet...
...was lost and now it's found. And thank goodness for that.
I started stitching this delightful project last year as part of Jenny's Stitch-a-long. I was really enjoying it...and then... I tidied my sewing room. A few weeks later I felt like stitching another sweet little dress but the project was gone...completely disappeared...maybe off where all the missing socks are located...maybe in a parallel universe.
Just recently I found it in the back of a large cupboard in the sewing room so now I can start sewing it again. Hooray.

ReplyDeleteI once lost a piece of Hawaiian appique that I had slaved over - it turned up when I got out a neglected project - I had accidently picked up the applique with it and put it away, not to be seen for many months!!

I just love this Betsy's Closet design; it reminds me of a patchwork wall hanging I have in my stash, of a paper doll design. Very cute.
