Tuesday Treasures and a Giveaway

This week's treasure is Bloggy Friends' Get Togethers.  I love meeting other bloggers in person and I am very lucky as I will be doing just this on Saturday at the Mill Rosie Friends Get Together.
There will be lots of chatting, laughing, eating, show and tell and a swap too.  This time we chose Rosalie Quinlan as the designer and it will be lots of fun seeing what everyone has chosen to make.

 Do you have something you treasure to share with us all today.  It can be a thing, a place, a person, an idea or anything you want.  Just pop your detail into Mr Linky and join in the fun.

This month I have a beautiful hand turned needle case as my giveaway prize. It is made of Australian Native Bauhinia.  It has a magnet in it's base to help pick up dropped pins and needles.  All you need to do is play along with Tuesday Treasures and you will have an entry in the giveaway.  Leave a comment for an entry or do both and you will have two entries.  Good luck - I'll draw and announce the winner next Tuesday.

    How fun would that be to get together..in person with blogging friends! Have a wonderful time! Wish I could join you but it would be a bit of a hike for me over land and sea! I shared my Year of Projects update from Sunday on Ravelry. I keep forgetting it's still Monday here but it's Tuesday where you are! LOL!
    Do you take entries for your drawing from overseas? I'm in the U.S. so it might be a bit pricey! Either way is fine...it is a beautiful piece!

    Since I won last month, I will excuse myself from the drawing this month, but I am still treasuring this day. The sun is shining, the birds are chirping, the errands are sorted, and I even have 5 new library books. My very much loved Dad will be turning 72 on 22 February and I am so thankful he is still around so I could mail his Birthday card today. (He lives in Texas, USA). I have a sweet little fabric stash, a sewing machine I love, a roof over my head, and food in the pantry. I've had multiple text messages from two dear friends today. This is my very first time growing zucchini and I woke to some pretty yellow flowers. They are all simple things, but today is still a treasure for me! xx debbie
