A Stitched Card

We are off to a family wedding soon and the couple have asked for money as a gift.  

 Rather than pop a cheque in a card I decided to stitch this cute little design from Homespun No 100, Volume12 No 9. It was designed by Julie Lovell of Calico Farm Designs. I plan to put a little pocket on the back to hold the gift.

 Hopefully I'll get it finished tonight.

    What a fantastic idea! Its funny that I was going through some old magazines on Saturday and pulled this one out as I have intentions of making it into a mini quilt one day lol.
