Super speedy mail

On Monday my Inchy Hexie Flower Swap partner, Anna in the Netherlands, posted my hexies and they arrived on Thursday.  I'm amazed and thrilled that something posted on the other side of the world got here so quickly.  So a huge hooray for both postal services.

And look what Anna sent - such beautiful hexie flowers and the most delightful fabrics as a bonus present.


Anna also popped in this amazing card. I must show you the gorgeous stamps on the parcel too, I'll definitely be keeping these.


I'm off on an adventure today with some of my Kilmore Quilter's friends.  A bus load of us are heading down to Geelong to visit all the quilt shops in the area.  Should be a huge amount of fun, friendship and shopping and I know Valda has made lolly bags for us all.  I'm hoping to buy a whole heap of fat quarters to send to others in the two birthday fat quarter swaps I'm in this year.

    its incredible how quick that got to you when some mail from o'seas takes months. Love the tulip fabric, so typical of the Netherlands such a lovely gift.

    I love all the pretty stamps. Unfortunately here they will print out a postage sticker unless you specifically ask for stamps and I notice many letters from the US don't have stamps on them.
