I saw this delightful director's chair cover down at Rye on the Mornington Peninsula.  Just had to share a photo because I liked it so much.

Stitching with friends

Today I'm off to The Quilt Shop in Eltham to get together with my stitching friends.  I just had to share this picture of Sharon's gorgeous Di Ford Hall designed quilt.  Sharon is one of the owners of the shop and this magnificent quilt is on display in the store.

...to the wonderful husband of my dear friend Lorraine.  Wayne rode in my name in the MS bike ride.  Such a wonderful thing for him to do...I feel very honoured.

Stitching by the Bay Part 2

I was very lucky on Sunday while attending Stitching by the Bay.  I have been on-line friends with Kate for many years (we think about 15 years) but we had never met in person.  But hooray we got to meet at the stitching event,

and Kate is just as delightful as I knew she would be.

I also won a lovely door prize

No wonder I had such a good time.

Stitching by the Bay

I'm so sorry I've been missing again.  My health has not been good lately, I've had a little hospital stay...but hopefully this will be the last of that for awhile and I can get back to blogging.

On Sunday I headed off to Stitching by the Bay, a new stitching event on the calendar of events we enjoy in our wonderful city, Melbourne Australia.  Here are some of the designers projects on display.

A Day with Di

Today I'm heading off to the first day of three days of classes with Di Ford Hall, I am very excited.

Feeling proud...

...of my dear Sammy.  The Diamond Valley Railway does so much to support the local community and they received an award in the Australia Day Awards which Sam collected, as he is the president of the club.

They have their annual night run coming up and it is always so much fun. Please pop over to their website for more information.

Sam has purchased a train for Henry to drive, such a lucky little boy.
