This man is certainly facing a poor future.<br />One thing I do suggest for this young man, and anyone else who finds themselves in a bad situation is to look at enrolling in university studies. There are bridging courses if you have been out of school for a while. These courses attract Centrelink benefits for most people. Universities provide lots of extra free services to assist their students. Select the easiest full-time course you can find. Check with Centrelink to see if they can help with funding. Why? It is really hard to change the direction of your life. Bad things happen to good people. Nobody deserves it. Re-invent yourself. Even a small achievement at uni will help you in confidence and perspective.
