Wendy's quilt

On Friday I'm getting together with some of my lovely stitching friends.  Helen, Julia and I will be working on our versions of Wendy William's fabulous quilt Round the Garden.  So last night I got out my wool felt collection and started making some of the little houses and flora which feature in the quilt.
Wendy's technique is to do as much of the sewing as possible before attaching each item so it makes this project very portable.

Lots of fun.

How cute is this darling cushion?
You can find the pattern and a fabulous detailed tutorial HERE at delightful Handmade in the Heartland.  There are some fabulous recipes at Angela's blog too.  Many, many thanks to her for all she shares with us.

I'm taking part in an eight week Heart Failure Recovery Program so I'm off to exercise and become more informed .
Hope you have a very interesting day too
Love
