Tuesday Treasures

This week's treasure is Quilting Block Swaps Australia and delightful Sue, from Quilted Hugs who runs the group.  I love being part of this swap group.

I have thoroughly enjoyed making a huge variety of blocks for my partners.  Here's some of what I've made...

... and here's some of the blocks I've received, which have been made into a quilt top which will be heading off to be quilted later this week.

When you join you can ask for whatever block you would like and I asked for owl blocks or any block in red, white and aqua.  I have received the most wonderful blocks in this exchange.  I plan to turn them into two single bed quilts.  If you've sent me a block and it's not in this quilt, don't worry - it will be in the second quilt.  This one just needs its borders added then it will head off to lovely Leanne for quilting - Can't wait to see what she does with it.

Do you have something you treasure to share this week.  Just pop your details into Mr Linky and join in the fun.

FABULOUS FREE STUFF

  14. Hi Melody, I love the idea of a block swap. What a great way to learn different blocks and techniques and then end up with a quilt at the end of it. Sorry I've joined in a little late this time, I was having issues with Blogger last night. Have a great day. Tracy.
